Time for Wellbeing is a collaborative initiative of the Roxby Health Forum, BHP Billiton and Healthy Environs.
It aims to bring local residents, workers and organisations together to promote better health and wellbeing in Roxby Downs, Andamooka and the surrounding region. The Time for Wellbeing Working Group has been established to oversee partnership initiatives. The Group involves:
- Representatives of the Roxby Health Forum: Dr Simon Lockwood (Roxby Downs Family Medical Practice), Michelle Hales (Roxby Council) and Janine Connell (Roxby Downs Health Service), Sarah Curtis (Strengthening our Families Olympic Dam Families Support)
- Nicole Montgomerie (Specialist Community – Corporate Affairs)
- Angela Thompson (Olympic Dam Education Partnership – Semann and Slattery)
- Partnership Consultants (Healthy Environs) – Angela Lafferty (Project Coordinator) and Sally Modystach (Project Manager).
Angela Lafferty is the Project Coordinator for Time for Wellbeing. Angela is a Roxby local who gets involved in range of community activities and forums. With her experience in community development and rural health programs (in Roxby, Andamooka and in the South East of SA), Angela brings a wealth of knowledge to the Time for Wellbeing project.
